In honor of Gary, Jr. and all active duty military who cannot be with us as we celebrate Christmas this year, I have wrapped all my presents in yellow ribbon. We miss you and love you, son! Please know that you are in all of our thoughts and we hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
Yes, he is in the Army and he is 20 now, but he is still Junior to me! This pic was taken as he departed the weekend before last back to Ft. Bragg.
We are of course completely supportive of him as this is the path he has chosen, the Army. He is a fine young man, has been trained by the best of the best, and will complete his assignments with honor, I am sure!

Gary Jr. was at home for the past week or so, having received a ten day leave from his Army post at Ft. Bragg, NC. His advanced training is going well. He proudly wears his (U.S. Army Airborne) maroon beret.
We had some BBQ’s and everyone was able to spend time with our favorite soldier!
Now that he has returned to duty, we will think of him always and keep him in our thoughts and prayers and miss him very much!
Today, Junior turned nineteen. He is currently stationed in NC in the Army, so we could not celebrate with him. We did however have a party for him on his recent visit.
