This video was captured on May 22, 2010 near Joplin, Missouri.  The video and images coming out of this apparently EF4 wedge tornado are immensely telling and overwhelmingly shocking. I am awed at the powered of nature.  The tornado became a mile wide with little warning (winds are being reported to be almost 200 MPH!) and tore a four mile long swatch of utter destruction through this urban area.  The death toll alone from this one is over 115 and rising.  This was part of another historical and major tornado outbreak this May.

Relief funds are being setup, but as always, the best advise to help those affected by this or any other natural emergency is to contact your local American Red Cross and donate cash.
