For the past year or so, I have subscribed to a site that attempts to teach me a bit of Swedish. So I thought I would try to pass some of this ‘vast’ (!) knowledge on to others! I know the Swanson line from Philip and Lydia is 50 percent Swedish (Philip) and 50 percent Finnish (Lydia) but one language at a time is all that I can handle! Maybe someone else in the family might like to take on the Finnish??!! So here’s a nice and easy sentence to start off with:
Vi ses snart! Pronounced- Vee see-a snaht! Translation- See you soon!
Now don’t you feel ever so much more Scandinavian!!??
